PAUL Fletcher, the Bolton boy who made it big in football, on and off the field, is to become the new managing director of Coventry City.
Fletcher, aged 54, moves after more than three years as boss at the Ricoh Arena.
The former Wanderers and Burnley centre-forward was chief executive at Huddersfield Town and then Wanderers before moving to Coventry.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by acting chairman Geoffrey Robinson as part of a triple boardroom coup he hailed as "the most significant thing to happen at the club since the arrival of Jimmy Hill".
