A LEIGH-based company of chartered accountants is advising people to make a New Year's resolution to clean up their finances.
Ian Booth, head of financial strategies at Jackson Stephen, Bradshawgate, said most busy entrepreneurs spend hours running their businesses and do not leave any spare time to ensure they are receiving the most out of their personal investments.
There are substantial rewards available to those diverting a little amount of precious time to review their personal finances.
He said: "Sometimes the simplest changes can produce instant results, for example a small initiative like switching your credit card to one offering an interest free rate is a great idea, although make sure you remember to swap it again before the interest free rate finishes."
