A former south Cumbrian vicar has been banned from driving for 18 months and fined £250 after pleading guilty to a charge of drink-driving.
Alan Dobson Cordiner, aged 44, had been vicar of Bootle until late last year when he resigned for personal reasons, and was also chaplain at Haverigg prison.
He was banned by Furness magistrates.
