A 16-YEAR-OLD boy who was knocked down as he crossed a road in Prestwich is recovering in hospital.
The teenager was hit by a car in Heywood Road on December 21 and suffered serious head injuries.
He was in a critical condition in Hope Hospital in Salford but he is now said to be stable.
