I find absolutely ridiculous all this bother over Christmas decorations.
This is a Christian country, a country that allows members of all faiths to freely practise their religions.
I can imagine the uproar that would arise should anyone in this country attempt or even suggest that, for example, a Muslim festival should be banned or that the Jewish festivals of the New Year and Day of Atonement should be cancelled.
As an English Jew, it gives me great pleasure to see the pleasure my Christian friends and neighbours get at this festive season.
I pray that the politically correct sections of our community come to their senses.
