I HAVE mixed feelings towards the re-branding of Bolton.
On the one hand, yes, we should retain the heritage and history of Bolton. But, on the other hand, certain places in Bolton could do with sprucing up.
Although, what will a few colours and fancy fonts achieve? It will certainly not cover up the violence and disorder with the sweetening catchy phrase, "Just one big happy family"
Get real. From what I see in and around Bolton, it is hardly a happy family!
As for any readers who are digressing whether we live in Manchester, Lancashire, or Greater Manchester - is it really that defining?
I feel it is just a reason for people to argue and correct each other.
I feel more strongly against the re-branding, and think that the suggestion of a swimming pool would be an excellent way to spend taxpayers' money.
