On Monday, November 21, just before 1.30pm, my wife and myself were walking through Bolton towards the town hall.
Outside the computer games shop on the corner, where there is a litter bin, we came across a young mum pushing a pram and eating a pastie or pie.
As she was four to five feet away from the bin she dropped the bag that the pastie or pie was in and continued to walk away so I called after her. She looked at me as though I had done something wrong and carried on her jolly way.
What I would like to know is where are all the litter wardens?
Nothing seems to be done about litter bugs. Is it not time this council, instead of moaning they have not enough money, did something positive like getting these litter wardens to be seen and stop these people dropping paper whenever they feel like doing so
Let us be proud of the town we live in and keep Bolton tidy
