A TEENAGER was struck in the face during an attempted robbery in Radcliffe on Wednesday night.
The 17-year-old youth fled after attackers demanded his mobile phone in Coronation Road, near to the Wilton Arms pub at 10pm.
Two robbers blocked his path and demanded the phone, but when he refused struck him in the face. Two more males approached, but the teenager escaped with minor injuries.
All four attackers were dressed in black. The first was white, aged 17, 5ft 11ins tall, of medium build. The other three were black, one 5ft 7ins tall, wearing a large nylon-type winter coat with a half inch-wide silver stripe down both sleeves. The others were 6ft tall, one heavily built and the other thin.
