BURY Grammar School pupils have been working hard this term to help out a charity for homeless people.
Year 11 girls were so inspired by a speaker from The Booth Centre in Manchester that they decided to organise a collection of toiletries and tins of food to help the drop-in centre.
The pupils are supporting the charity this year, and have already raised £180.91 by selling cakes during morning breaks.
The Booth Centre is based in Manchester Cathedral and provides help, support and advice and information for homeless people
