WIGAN & Leigh College Dance and Drama students will be taking to the floor this Christmas with their Dance Showcase.
The First and National Diploma students explore various themes with their own choreography using contemporary dance and physical theatre. The show is a result of a terms hard work and determination to find their footing and "stand" as dancers in the world of the performing arts, but what is dance without music?
The drama lecturer, Jason Anders, has worked with the dancers to devise and create music tailor made for the themes. This combination of movement and sound provide the viewer with a world of images and pictures to fulfil an evening of entertainment. The admission price of £2.50 includes a mince pie and glass of wine. Book your tickets and experience the students creative power.
The shows are at 1pm and 7.30pm on December 13 and 14 and 7.30pm on December 15.
