A LUCKY couple are toasting the centenary of a Bury jewellers after winning a £500 prize.
Michelle Crawford and husband Patrick have been presented with the gift after their names were pulled out of the hat in a prize draw organised by Lepps on The Rock. It was the second of their draws to celebrate the companys 100 years of trading.
And a further £1,000 will be up for grabs at Christmas when the shop stages two further draws with a first prize of £500.
The company was founded by businessman Mr James Ditchfield Lepp who later became the Mayor of Bury in 1928-1929. Today the business is still family-run and in the ownership of Mr Lepp's son John and his wife Antonia.
