GOLBORNE town centre's Christmas festivities are getting bigger and better.
The Community Forum, supported by the Township Programme and manager Andrew Sharrock with Kath and Sue from Asda Golborne, have organised two town centre events.
Be at Peter Kane Square Golborne on at 5pm on Thursday when all the Christmas fun starts with the Christmas lights being switched on at 5.30pm.
The event will include carol singing accompanied by Golborne Brass Band. Refreshments will also be available in Heath Street Methodist Church.
Saturday, December 10 is Christmas Fun Day in Golborne.
Enjoy the fun from 10.00am to 2.00pm with Christmas bargains galore with a car boot sale and Christmas market on the car park.
Theres also a children's fair, music, dance, Golborne Youth Brass Band, face painting plus the fire brigade on hand with Welephant for the kids.
Enjoy mince pies and mulled wine on Peter Kane Square, plus more refreshments served in Heath Street Methodist Church and on Golborne Library car park.
Jean from the (Community Forum Festivities Group) said: "The car boot stalls are just £5 per pitch but you need to reserve a place."
