TWO out of five employers in Bolton will not organise a Christmas party for their employees, for fear of discrimination claims, according to Manchester law firm Berg Legal.
Lee Jefcott, employment law expert at Berg Legal said: "The last few years have seen a raft of legislation introduced to protect employees from discrimination and many incidents, which often occur at the 'traditional' office Christmas party, could leave employers vulnerable to claims."
