SMALLER businesses are being invited to attend a health and safety training programme that could help cut insurance bills.
The sessions have already helped more than 200 local firms to raise their performance and boost profitability.
The nationally recognised programme, pioneered by PNC Business Development Consultants on Bridgeman Place, covers systems, processes and documentation that may benefit firms.
Steve Horrocks, Health and Safety Manager for PNC said: "These courses provide the definitive seal of quality in health and safety for small and medium sized firms. Possession of the qualifications will also help companies boost their reputation, efficiency and profitability.
"We've formed a partnership with the Willis Group of insurers, so clients completing this qualification are being recommended for preferential insurance premiums."
The courses are run in Bolton and will commence in January 2006.
