CLASSROOMS became film sets for the shooting of pop band Texas' new video featuring Peter Kay.
The Bolton comedian chose Harper Green School in Farnworth for the shoot for the Scottish bands new single Sleep, which he directed and appears in.
Both Peter and Sharleen Spiteri visited the school.
Teachers and pupils were sworn to secrecy about the filming of the video until it premiered on Friday's BBC Children in Need.
Wendy Rowberry, from the art department, said: "I almost burst after having to keep it a secret all week, but the kids have been brilliant and loved every minute of it."
Sixteen year 11 pupils gave up their Saturday lie-ins to appear in the video. During filming 15-year-old Marguerite Keita found herself given a speaking part on the video.
She said: "Peter Kay's great and I loved meeting Sharlene, shes really pretty".
In a spoof of well-known scenes from movies and videos, Peter used the school to recreate the scene from Lionel Ritchie's Hello video and the potters wheel scene from Ghost.
Farnworth Veterans Club was also used featured in the video. Pupils Robert May, aged 15, said: "My mum was upset as the bingo was cancelled at the Vets due to more filming, but she won't mind now."
