THEY were roamin' in the gloamin' in Bolton as Slater Menswear celebrated its first anniversary in the town.
Staff at the store, in Oxford Street in the town centre, dressed in traditional Highland costume for the celebrations on Saturday.
Store manager Mark Howard said that as well as highlighting the company's Glasgow-based origins, the day showcased the stores extensive Highland dress hire service.
He said: "We actually get more requests for Highland outfits than you would think, especially for weddings.
"We have both expat Scots and Scottish guests to Bolton who would wear tartan at formal occasions."
He added: "Slater Menswear will always be on the high street rather than out-of-town."
