THE chance of Roy Keane playing for another Premiership club would appear to be remote judging from comments he made earlier this season writes Chris Sudlow
As the shock waves from Keane's sudden departure last Friday "by mutual consent" continue to reverberate around the soccer world it should be remembered what the controversial Irishman said in September.
Admitting that this would be his last season at Old Trafford, he ruled out a move to another Premiership club.
And he fuelled speculation he would be joining Celtic, by also saying: "It would be a good experience for me to play for another team, another country, another dressing room.
"If I'm going to become a manager it would be good for me to experience a different environment.
"When I say I might play for another team I don't necessarily mean an English team. I think that would be hard for me to stomach. I wouldn't fancy coming back to Old Trafford and going into the away dressing room."
