WORKERS at a century-old mill are appealing for help to discover its history.
Staff at Beldorm, based at Kearsley Mill in Stoneclough, are hoping to create displays of historical memorabilia that will portray the way the mill used to look.
The company, part of the Riua group, produces bed linen. Kerry Parker, Beldorm's design and marketing manager, said: "We work in this building, but know nothing of its history.
"At the moment, we have a collection of old paperwork and we are looking to build on this by gathering old pay slips, photographs, work records - anything that tells us about the history of the mill."
Kearsley Mill was built in 1906 and was originally a cotton spinning mill.
