SINGING sensation Emma Schofield has a sparkling date on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old Atherton star, who formed the group The Diamond Girls earlier this year, will perform on the same bill as the UK's biggest girl group, Girls Aloud.
Emma will be joined by her band members Catherine Rouse and Carley Stenson of Billinge and Emma Thomas of Daisy Hill.
They will support the hitmakers before a crowd of 3,000 at the Xscape Centre in Milton Keynes which is celebrating its fifth birthday.
The girls, who now have their own loyal fanbase, formed their foursome to put on a musical theatre show for Great Britain and Wigan Rugby League star Kris Radlinski's testimonial.
They then successfully sang at the JJB Stadium for Johnny Martin for the British Donor Foundation, thrilling the crowds.
To crown their success ful year they will be on home ground next month.
The girls can be seen at the Monaco Ballroom, Hindley, on Wednesday, December 21.
Emma Schofield, of Millers Lane, studied media and performance at Salford University, and has always dreamed of being a star.
Emma Thomas, who uses the stage name Emma Lori, wowed audiences when she starred as Evita in Blackpool.
