COUNCILLOR Roy Walker will be guest of honour and official opener of the Bury United Reformed Church Christmas Fair this Saturday, and as usual the event promises to be something traditionally special.
On sale will be home made cakes and bread, fancy goods, wooden toys, bric-a-brac and Christmas cards. There will also be a tombola and a bottle stall plus the regular cafe offering home made cakes, sandwiches, toasted tea cakes and the like. Doors open from 10-30am until 1.30pm.
