AN annual service in memory of road crash victims is being held this Sunday.
St Peter's Church, Belmont, will play host to the annual Roadpeace service to highlight road safety.
The ceremony has been organised by Anne Jones, the wife of the vicar at the church, after she became involved in road safety campaigns when her father was killed in a crash in 1999.
Mrs Jones said: "Living in Belmont adds resonance to the theme of road safety.
I have lived here since 1997 and have been aware of the high numbers of people killed and injured on the A675 which runs past my front door."
The service, which starts at 3pm, is non-denominational and open to people of all faiths. For more details on Roadpeace visit www.roadpeace.org
