IN support of Mr Mullineaux, I am sorry to have to add salt to his wounds, and those of many other cheesed off people in Bolton town centre who have unjustifiably received parking tickets for trying to earn an honest living.
Do he and other town centre shopkeepers realise that if their shops were situated on a number of major roads which lead in or out of the town centre, they would be allowed to park on the pavement, double yellow lines, and in bus lanes at restricted times?
All this is done with total disregard for the law or other people's safety, often causing obstructions and permanently slowing down the flow of traffic.
So, I am sorry, Mr Mullineaux, but it appears your only answer is to abandon the town centre along with the public and set up a business along one of these busy routes.
