HYDE UTD 3 LEIGH RMI 3 BY DAVID MAGILTON: RMI claimed a point after a late rally saw them pull two goals back.
Fellow strugglers Hyde, managed by former RMI boss Steve Waywell, had a terrific start when former Hilton Park striker Neil Tolson slotted home.
Chris Simm put his side level with a shot through a host of players.
Leigh were in contention but slipped behind again when Matty McNeil's free-kick found the net and RMI looked doomed when Tolson took advantage of slack defending.
The visitors bounced back again when Ryan McDowell applied the finishing touch and Simm grabbed an equaliser with a superb individual effort.
