IMPRESSIVE winger Gary Roberts has backed Accrington Stanley to win the Conference.
The skilful 21-year-old believes the Reds can go all the way after ending Grays Athletic's 15-game unbeaten run and climbing to within two points of leaders Exeter, with a game in hand.
"Grays are supposedly the best in the league. If you can beat the best team in the league, then we deserve to win it I think," Roberts said.
"You've got to say you're going to win the league.
"Saturday was the biggest game of our season. Grays are flying, they're a great side and they're going to beat loads of teams this season.
"They'll win more than they lose, so to go there and get three points was a great win."
Roberts, who was voted Sky Sports' man of the match in the televised game, says Stanley can maintain their winning formula in their next four consecutive home games.
"Hopefully we'll be going into Christmas with 12 more points," he said. "No disrespect to other teams but you expect to win your home games."
