RADCLIFFE Boro edged home 7-6 on penalties to knock Atherton Colls out of the Marsden Cup on Monday night.
Before the shootout the game ended goal-less
Colls had been hoping to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat at Great Harwood on Saturday.
Colls went a goal down after only a minute, and then went further behind after a frenetic start to the second half.
Harwood then gifted Colls a consolation with an own goal 10 minutes from time.
