FIREFIGHTERS were called to attend a blaze in the bedroom of a children's home in Trafford Drive, Little Hulton.
The fire is believed to have started when a 13-year-old girl from the home put a scarf over a lamp at 8.15pm on Sunday
The home is owned by Salford Social Services.
Three children and two members of staff were evacuated from the property after the fire triggered a smoke alarm.
No-one was injured in the incident, but there was minor fire damage to the bedroom.
