BOLTON Lads and Girls Club went hopping mad when they celebrated National Lottery Day with a "Big Bounce" event.
Mayor of Bolton Cllr Frank White also gave in to temptation and joined the seven to 11-year-olds in a bounce around the sports hall.
Judith Hibbert, spokesman and fundraiser for Bolton Lads and Girls Club, said: "It was a really great afternoon and everyone had a good time taking part in the space hopper races and obstacle courses.
"The children got to keep the space hoppers and were given T-shirts to remember the day."
National Lottery day, officially on November 5, was a celebration of all the things that have been achieved with the help of lottery funding. As part of the celebrations, Big Lottery Fund hosted Big Bounce events across the UK.
In 1999, a £4 million grant from the Sport England Lottery Fund allowed the club to start work on its own purpose-built facility, which was opened in 2002.
