A COMPETITION has been launched by the Rural Innovation Support Network to find the North-west's Rural Entrepreneur of the Year.

The competition is open to business people based in the countryside who can demonstrate how a new invention or method of working has benefitted their business.

As well as the prestigious title, the winner will walk away with a cheque for £1,000 to help them develop their business. In addition, there will be £2,000 worth of public relations consultancy from PR Agency Weber Shandwick.
