I SEND this letter in disgust, at the way Mrs Alyson Cooper, a nurse for 25 years is being treated, or not treated, as the case seems to be.
I don't know if it is the Minister of Health's decision to do this or the hospital management, but it is downright disgusting whoever is responsible.
I lost my wife to breast cancer, and I would not like to see anyone go through the illness again.
I was helpless to do anything for her but comfort her, so I do what I can for cancer research - along with many other people - and we live in hope that a cure will be found, and now this time is getting nearer people are being refused the best treatment.
Does all the work done by organisations and ordinary people for cancer research mean nothing, or are we paving the way for the chemical companies to make a big profit out of the sick.
