A FUNERAL home has raised more than £240 for charity by taking part in a coffee morning.
Hall and Heyes Funeral Services, in Higher Market, Farnworth, took part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, as part of Macmillan Cancer Relief's annual campaign.
The funeral home invited guests to make donations to the charity, which provides specialist health care and emotional support to people living with cancer.
The funeral home raised more than £240 by holding the event, which also included a competition of guess the number of balloons inside a limousine, and a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses.
Mike Newman, Hall and Heyes Funeral Home manager, said: "We're proud to support such a worthwhile cause that helps people who are living with cancer and would like to thank all those who came along on Friday for helping us to raise the much needed funds for Macmillan."
