BOLTON Under-14s bid to make a winning start to their season when they take on Warrington at Turton High School on Saturday, kick-off 10.30am.
Bolton, who were without an Under 14s representative side last season, completed their trials last weekend and they will be hoping for maximum points in their opening game despite their lack of match practice.
Under-14s rookie manager Liam Carr will be hopeful of a strong team performance against a Warrington side who have struggled to find their league form in recent seasons.
But the local lads will have to be at their best the following week when they are scheduled to travel to take on Trafford who usually produce strong district teams.
Full squad: Ross Shepherd (Cannon Slade), Taylor Hayes (Harper Green), Josh Ashworth, James Field (Little Lever), Ryan Kirkpatrick, Callum Yearsley (Mount St. Joseph's), Elliott Slingsby (Rivington and Blackrod), Lee Brickles, Joshua Lee (Sharples), Tom Mills (St James'), Nathan Blair, Daniel Sixsmith (St. Joseph's), Jack Burke (Thornlea),
Rizwan Patel, Seb Halstead, Connor Wilson, Matthew Farnworth (Turton), Adam McMahon (Withins).
