YOUR article in the Bolton Evening News, "Too tall nursery school can stay", on Saturday, October 1, reads as though the residents of Kayfields and Brookfold Lane are objecting to the building of the nursery at St Brendan's Primary School.
We would like to distance ourselves from this view.
Our grievance is related to the quality of the building and with the planners who allowed it, rather than the development itself.
Previous extensions in the area have been subjected to rigorous scrutiny and have had to comply with local planning rules in order to maintain the local environment.
Councillor David Wilkinsons description of this - "not the prettiest building" - must be the understatement of the year. Unfortunately we have to live with it!
