More than 1,500 visitors were challenged to rediscover their taste buds by eating organic, fair trade and eco-friendly food and drink from local and regional producers.
The Bury Organic Festival was held at Castle Leisure Centre on Sunday to promote 'the true taste of food' and interest people in the products they are eating.
Organiser Dean Wilson said: "The feedback we received from members of the public was that the event was both interesting and educational.
"People told us that they had learned a great deal about organic products and services - a new-found awareness that will encourage them to become more organically minded in the future and think more about the environment.
"Exhibitors, too, reported excellent levels of trade - many of them sold out early! We would like to thank all those who attended and helped make it such a great day."
