After watching Trinny and Susannah on TV. Assistant secretary Mrs Claire Lord decided to speak to St. Paul's Ladies Group on fashion.
She said her own passion was for scarves and she brought a colourful selection to show the group.
She had asked members to bring along something of their own - clothing, jewellery or accessories - and to say a few words about their particular choice.
Among these was a handbag from Spain, an embroidered bodywarmer trimmed with fur, a very stylish black and white dress which had been worn at a wedding, and a smart white net evening jacket worn at a Masonic ball at Stirling Castle.
Other items included a bikini, a double link crystal necklace and a silver chain with a crystal drop. There was also a mob cap worn for a concert in aid of Oxfam, which brought back memories of life in Belgium for one member.
Mrs Jean McCoy thanked Mrs Lord for arranging the evening.
