The family of Lauren Pilkinton-Smith would like to say a big thank you to everybody involved with the organisation of the benefit night for Lauren which took place at the Sportsman Hotel.
They raised a staggering amount of £1700.50p. Special thanks goes to Brian (Stolen Thunder) Tommy, Margaret and players and officials of Leigh Centurions, and all those who attended and participated in the raffles and auctions which made the night such a huge success.
We would also like to thank the community of Leigh and district for their kindness, floral tributes and overwhelming donations we have received over the past weeks.
All are listed on Lauren's website. (www.matmice.com/home/rip_lauren.) The proceeds will be going towards Lauren's headstone and a permanent memorial at Lauren's Corner where a mosaic, a bench and a memorial marble book is in the process of being made.
Once again a big thank you to everyone who is helping us through this sad and tragic time.
