MANAGERS at ASDA's Bolton stores were swapping their desk jobs for bag packing duties on Thursday.
They were rolling up their sleeves in the supermarket's latest Serving Our Stores initiative.
The scheme will see managers spending a day in store, packing bags, stacking shelves, greeting customers and getting involved in the everyday life of Asda's 281 stores nationwide.
David Smith, people director at Asda said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to say a big thank you to our customers and colleagues.
"We'll all be in store for the whole day in our Asda uniform, packing bags, stacking shelves and greeting customers."
