A TEACHER accused of indecently assaulting two women 30 years ago has said the allegations "are not true at all"
Frederick Peter Barton, aged 56, of Hough Fold Way, Harwood, is standing trial charged with four sex offences.
He denies the charges.
Bolton Crown Court was told that he attacked a girl, then aged 14, while she was babysitting at his house in 1973 and again at another house in 1974.
A second woman, now aged 39, told the court that Barton touched her in his bed on two occasions, first in 1976 and again in 1979.
Barton, who has been suspended from his post as deputy headteacher at Mount St Joseph's High School, told the court that the pair had made up the allegations.
He also taught maths and IT at the school.
He previously taught at the former Deane Grammar School.
