HORWICH Vic maintained their 100 per cent record in the Bolton Sunday league's Premier Division with a 3-1 victory over Stumble Inn.
Holmes struck twice and Brobby added Vic's other goal while Darren Porter Senior got Stumble's consolation.
Vic are three points clear of Market Street Tavern in second after winning all five of their opening games.
The Tavern have won four and lost one of their first five games, their latest three-pointer coming in a seven-goal thriller with Arkwrights at the weekend.
Ralph scored twice for the high-fliers with Fletcher and Harrison adding the other two for Tavern who are two points ahead of third placed Farnworth Canary who have a game in hand and are yet to be beaten this season.
They were in action in the Sunday Trophy in which they are in danger of becoming the league's only representatives.
They showed their class with a resounding 6-0 victory over Bradley Wanderers, while Astley Bridge, Ladybridge, Smithills and Clifton were all beaten. Hulton Lane play their game agianst Dragon next Sunday at 11am.
The day's highest scorers were Deane who hammered Horseshoe 10-0 in the Premier Division.
Top scorer was Holt with four while Fay scored three and Guest, Charlton and O'Neil grabbed the others.
In Division One, Black Horse moved up to third after inflicting a first defeat of the season on Darcy Lever.
The Horse are two points behind joint leaders Astley Bridge and Britannia Farnworth who both have 100 per cent records and a game in hand on the Horse who ran out narrow 6-5 winners on Sunday.
Greenfield also hit six as they moved into fourth on the back of a 6-2 victory over AFC Heaton.
Hulton Lane just got the better of T&S Northwest in a five-goal thriller.
T&S went 2-1 up just before half-time but Hulton Lane Lads hit back through Mark Rice and, in an even second half, Michael Rice got the winner and The Lane hung on for the three points.
Mick Gregory was in top form with four goals for Prince Rupert who beat Sporting Windmill 5-1.
