Breightmet equalised after Leigh failed to clear their lines and the scores were level at half time
In the second half Breightmet took the lead against the run of play but Leigh bounced back, levelling within five minutes through Pete Conolly. Minutes later Paul Wilkinson thundered home a header from a well worked Shepherd corner.
The second team had a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to East Manchester. The third team drew 1-1 with Springhead, Mark North with the goal and MoM performance from Chris Priest. However the result was overshadowed by Ste Meredith suffering a broken arm in the second half.
