BLOOD donors are desperately needed in Bolton.
The National Blood Service is appealing for people to go along to one of their sessions.
There is a desperate shortage of donors, with the NHS needing 800 a day from the North-west alone so all patients can be treated.
Sessions are being held at the Radcliffe Suite, Thomas Street, Radcliffe, on Thursday, October 6; the Walker Memorial Hall, Ridgeway Gate, Bolton, on Wednseday, October 12; Bethesda Church, 11 Parkhills Road, Bury, on Monday, October 17; and St Josephs Church, Chapel Street, Leigh, on Thursday, October 20.
All sessions take place from 1.30 to 3.30pm and 5.30 to 7.30pm.
For more information about becoming a blood donor or about the sessions, call the helpline on 0845 7711711 or visit www.blood.co.uk
