PETER Kay fans are now able to buy the Bolton comic's latest DVD release.
Kay will be hoping that the Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere will emulate the sales success of his previous DVDs which have helped to make him one of the country's highest paid entertainers.
Screened on Channel 4 earlier this year, the six-part series sees clueless doorman Max (Kay) and Paddy (Patrick McGuinness) reunited as they escape clubland in their prized motorhome to take to the open highway.
Although it received a mixed response from critics, the series recorded some of Channel 4's highest viewing figures and the DVD is certain to be a popular Christmas present.
The DVD will include outtakes, deleted scenes, trailers and an audio commentary.
Kay will go head to head with Ricky Gervais, who sees his Extras series released on October 31, for the best-selling DVD this Christmas.
Earnings of £4.5million last year for Kay were largely due record breaking DVD sales, including Live at The Albert Halls which sold 1.29 million copies in 12 months.
A second series of Max and Paddy is not being made, according to Channel 4.
