A WOMAN accused of murdering another woman last week has appeared in court.
Angela Walmsley, aged 23, of Scowcroft Street, Tonge Moor, was at Bolton Magistrates Court, where she was charged with murdering Marie Gillard.
Walmsley spoke only to confirm her name and address before an application was made for bail. Magistrates refused the application.
Miss Gillard, aged 33, was found dead outside the house where she lived on George Barton Street, Tonge Moor, at 6.30pm on last Tuesday.
Neighbours tried to resuscitate her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Walmsley was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on December 2.
