SHOPPERS in Bolton town centre have the chance to tune in to Bolton Council's digital TV service.
A display in the Crompton Place Shopping Centre is promoting the benefits of the Bolton Council service which provides local information to digital TV subscribers at the touch of an interactive button.
Throughout the week, a short video will be played and staff will be on hand to talk people through the process of accessing the service.
Bolton DigiTV service has been in operation for just over a year and viewers can access council and local information from their own home.
The fire and police services have their own sections and users can also get in touch with the council.
Bolton's DigiTV service is available to Sky and ntl digital subscribers. It can be accessed by pressing the interactive button on the TV remote control or keyboard and following the on-screen instructions. Sky viewers pay a local call charge. For more information log on to www.bolton.gov.uk
