I HAVE just finished reading your story on Rivington and Blackrod School uniforms. I agree with everything these parents are saying.
I have four grandchildren who attend this school, three girls and a boy.
If you take a close look at the model in the photograph, they have to wear jumpers with the school badge on, which are quite long, so the blue piping on the pants and skirts cannot be seen anyway. So why should parents be forced into paying for something that is covered up?
Another daft idea of this school is that pupils have to wear jumpers with badges on which are then covered up with a blazer with a badge on. They have to wear both.
