My husband and I, in our 70s and 80s, have our own teeth, and I think most people of our generation also have their own teeth.

It is not the water that is causing tooth decay in children, but too many fizzy drinks and sweets and not enough cleaning of teeth.

I drink tap water every day, which is excellent, so why should I have to have a toxic substance put in my water supply?

I thought we lived in a democratic society, so we should have a vote on this.

The health hazard caused by smoking was not recognised 70 years ago, so will it be the same with fluoride in 30 or 40 years time?
