A TEENAGE mother who is believed to have been killed in front of her one-year-old daughter has been laid to rest.
Lynn Savery, aged 19, was found dead by her parents at her house in Chelsea Avenue, Radcliffe, on Friday, September 2.
Her one-year-old daughter Mia was also discovered, unharmed, in the same room.
A funeral service took place at Radcliffe Parish Church on Monday afternoon.
Miss Saveryis stepbrother Sean Constantine, aged 37, read the eulogy and the congregation sang the hymns All Things Bright and Beautiful and Jerusalem.
A special song, chosen by one of Lynn's closest friends, that Lynn used to sing at school, was also played.
A private service was held at Overdale Crematorium in Bolton. In a joint statement, Miss Saveryis family said: "Lynn's death was a shock to everyone and she will be very sadly missed by all who knew her.
"We have been through the worst few weeks of our lives and, now that Lynn has been laid to rest, we ask that we are now given some privacy to grieve our loss and get our lives back to some sort of normality in order to provide stability for Lynn's daughter Mia."
Miss Saveryis daughter celebrated her first birthday the day before her mother was found dead.
A 25-year-old man from Bury has been charged with Miss Saveryis murder.
