A PIMP is facing prison after being convicted of a string of offences including rape.
Macksood Alam held prostitute Lindsay Voss hostage in a car and forced her to perform a sex act in a revenge attack.
Alam, aged 21, was found guilty of rape, false imprisonment, controlling prostitution for personal gain and blackmail at Bolton Crown Court on Monday.
But a jury of six men and six women cleared him of 10 other charges after three days of deliberation.
Alam, who was out on licence for a robbery at the time of the offences last August, was told he faced a lengthy spell in prison.
"You have been convicted by this jury of a number of serious offences," said Judge William Morris.
"You will be aware that the inevitable consequence of your actions will be a significant term of imprisonment."
The three-week trial heard that crack cocaine addict Alam, of Rowena Street, Bolton, and co-defendent Nicola Watson, aged 29, had taken Miss Voss from her flat and held her in Watsons car while they searched for a man for her to have sex with.
They planned to then take the cash as "payment" for Miss Voss telling a friend that Alam was planning to rob her.
Miss Voss was released by the pair after she performed a sex act on Alam.
Watson, of Cherry Tree Avenue, Farnworth, was convicted of blackmail, false imprisonment, controlling prostitution for personal gain, robbery and breach of a drug treatment and testing order.
Alam was cleared of a further ten charges of blackmail, robbery, assault, aggravated burglary, attempted murder, wounding and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Watson was cleared of two robberies, assault and aggravated burglary.
Alams brother Harris Alam, aged 25, of Tonge Moor Road, Bolton, had also appeared during the trial, accused of perverting the course of justice, but was acquitted on Monday.
Sentencing was deferred until November 14 while psychiatric reports are prepared on Alam and Watson.
Alam was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders' Register for life.
