A THIRD of workers employed by finance firms are claiming family tax credits to boost their pay, a survey reveals.
The union Amicus accused banks of using taxpayers money to subsidise the salaries of their employees despite making huge profits.
General Secretary Derek Simpson said; "It is absolutely shocking that taxpayers are having to support the staff of some of the world's richest institutions.This survey is a grim read and should serve as a wake-up call to the finance sector."
