A WHOLE galaxy of stars are lined up to appear at Bolton's Albert Halls for the new autumn season.
The programme includes top TV comics, tribute bands, a bizarre off-the-wall circus troupe and Bolton's own stand-up comedy shows.
Top acts incude zany TV comic Harry Hill, Chorley's own Dave Spikey, 80s pop stars ABC and the Radio 4 Test Match Special commentary team.
Punk poet John Cooper Clarke makes a return to Bolton and there's the traditional Christmas panto Cinderella, starring Stu Francis.
Former chart stars ABC, featuring singer Martin Fry, are appearing on Friday, September 30, to give a rendition of their hits.
Manchester-born British folk singer and songwriter Roy Harper will be appearing on Sunday October 9. Former Marillion front man Fish brings his own distinctive brand of rock music to town on Monday, October 10.
Also on the bill are dedicated U2 tribute act U2Two, who some critics say are hard to tell apart from the real band.
Pink Floyd imitators Off the Wall are also said to be one of the better clone acts, and will perform on October 13.
Top TV and stand-up comic Dave Spikey, perhaps best known for his role in Phoenix Nights, is currently on his Living the Dream tour and arrives in Bolton on October 25.
Wrestling fans are in for a treat when the All Star American Wrestling team hits the canvas on Tuesday October 25th.
Harry Hill brings his own brand of zany comedy and daft props with his show Harry Hill in Hooves on Tuesday, November 1.
Featured in the madcap show will be Stouffer the Channel 4 Cat and Harry Hill senior.
Music fans will not want to miss the triple billing of blues rockers The Hamsters, Wilko Johnson and John Otway on Friday, November 4th.
And Jenny Eclair will host Grumpy Old Women Live which is billed as 90 minutes of thearical HRT on Tuesday, November 8.
Sports fans should also note that Aggers and Gatters, better known as Jonathan Agnew and Mike Gatting, along with guests, will be sharing hilarious moments from Test Match Special and other sporting anecdotes.They bowl into town on Wednesday, November 9.
Al Murray, the Perrier award winning comedian, brings his funny Pub Landlord And Another Thing show to Bolton on Wednesday, November 23rd.
