THREE men from Bolton, who were stopped at Liverpool John Lennon Airport and charged with football disorder offences, have appeared in court.
The men were stopped by Merseyside Police officers before boarding a flight to Ireland before the England football team's match against Northern Ireland last week.
Carl Dolphin, aged 36 of Willows Lane, Deane, Christopher Riordan, age 25, of Orchard Avenue, Astley Bridge, and Marlon Hibbert, aged 28, of Belgrave Street South, Bolton, appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court charged under Section 21A and 21B of the football disorder act 2000.
The case was adjourned until October 26. All three men have been given bail with conditions.
